Fuelora is designed to help users on GLP-1 medications (such as Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro) track their nutrition, injections, hydration, and body composition. To provide this functionality, we collect the following health-related data that you voluntarily provide:
- Body composition data: age, biological sex, height, current weight, target weight, and BMI (calculated from your inputs).
- Medication information: medication name (e.g., Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro), current dose, injection frequency, and injection day preference.
- Injection logs: date, time, injection site (body zone), dose administered, and any side effects experienced.
- Nutrition logs: meals logged (food items, quantities, calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, fibre), meal type (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack), and date.
- Hydration logs: fluid type, volume consumed, and date.
- Weight logs: weight entries over time for progress tracking.
- Nutrition goals: daily protein, calorie, and fluid intake targets.

2. Account Data
When you create a Fuelora account, we collect:
- Email address: used for authentication, account recovery, and transactional communications (such as a welcome email).
- Password: securely hashed and stored; we never have access to your plaintext password.
- Display name: optionally provided during onboarding for personalisation.
3. Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect precise GPS location data.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, or other personal files.

4. Third-Party Services
Fuelora uses the following third-party services to operate. Each service only receives the minimum data necessary to perform its function:
4.1 Supabase (Authentication & Database)
- Purpose: User authentication (sign-up, sign-in, password reset) and secure storage of your profile, meal logs, injection logs, weight logs, and hydration logs.
- Data shared: Email address, hashed password, and all health/nutrition data you enter in the app.
- Security: Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Row-level security policies ensure you can only access your own data.

4.2 FatSecret Platform API (Food & Nutrition Data)
- Purpose: Providing food search results, nutritional information (calories, protein, carbs, fat, fibre), barcode scanning lookup, and autocomplete suggestions when you log meals.
- Data shared: Search queries you type when looking up foods, and barcode values you scan. No personal information or health data is sent to FatSecret.
- Data flow: Your search queries are sent from the app to our secure proxy server, which then queries FatSecret's API. FatSecret never communicates directly with your device.
- Attribution: Nutritional data displayed in Fuelora is powered by the FatSecret Platform API.

4.3 RevenueCat (Subscription Management)
- Purpose: Managing premium subscription status, entitlements, and purchase verification.
- Data shared: An anonymous user identifier and subscription purchase receipts from the App Store or Google Play. No health data is shared with RevenueCat.

4.4 Apple App Store / Google Play Store (Payments)
- Purpose: Processing subscription payments.

- Calculate BMI, daily macro summaries, hydration progress, and GLP-1 Friendly Scores for foods.
- Generate side effect pattern analysis and doctor-ready PDF reports (premium features).
- Provide personalised meal suggestions based on your nutrition goals (premium feature).
- Send you a welcome email when you create an account.
- Verify your subscription status and unlock premium features.
- Improve the app's functionality and fix bugs.
6. Data Storage and Security
- All health and nutrition data is stored in Supabase's cloud database with encryption at rest and in transit.
- FatSecret API credentials are stored exclusively on our secure server — they are never exposed to your device.
- Row-level security ensures that each user can only read and write their own data.
- Session tokens are stored locally on your device using secure storage and are used solely for maintaining your authenticated session.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
- Your data is retained for as long as your account is active.
- You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing .
- Upon receiving a deletion request, we will remove all your personal data, health data, and logs within 30 days.
- Anonymised, aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained for analytics purposes.
